Kirby Does His Taxes is a non-profit fan-game originally mentioned as a joke on reddit. The game follows Kirby as he collects taxpapers and money on a quest to stop the evil forces of Capitalism, Socialism, Communism, and Fascism as they take over Dream Land one by one. Kirby Does His Taxes also features music by popular youtube channel SilvaGunner. Please be mindful that the following demo was made for a school project therefore there was a deadline, so there are no copy abilities yet and there are a few bugs with inhale. In this game, holding shift will let you dash instead of the standard double tap to dash in other games. You can also increase your air speed by holding shift in the air. Kirby only has 2 double jumps in this game to increase challenge in exchange for a faster air speed during these jumps. *CONTROLS BELOW*
All characters, locations, art and music in this game are owned by Nintendo. Assets such as sprites and music are either modified / taken from Nintendo. All programming is entirely original, done by me.

Just extract the rar file and boot up the .exe file lmao
controls:
- z to jump
- x to inhale/spit out a star
- hold shift to dash
- arrow keys to move
- down to crouch/swallow
- use your mouse to select things on the menu

An update to mention that this game is now 3 years old. It's not very polished and I probably won't be updating it since I have no interest in making fangames. It was still good experimenting as a first project, however.
